WHO WE ARE
The first meeting of the Salem Chapter of the Harley Owners Group occurred February
11, 1989. On April 1, 1989 we were recognized and approved by the National Harley
Owners Group. By July the chapter had grown to 65 members and in a very short
period of time we were the largest HOG chapter in Oregon. |
There are currently 200 members (or there about) in the chapter, 10 of which are
charter members from the original group that founded it. Not still the largest
chapter in Oregon, the group has continued to hold on to other important factors
present from the very beginning. We have maintained a strong commitment to
community involvement continuing to support MDA and the Shriners Toy Run. We
support many charitable projects during the year and still find time to have fun
in our annual poker run and the Veterans Day parade.
Our biggest commitment is to ride and have fun.
Enrollment is open to those current members of National HOG. The chapter meets
the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm at the Salem Elks Club, 2336 Turner Road SE, Salem, Oregon 97302.
You are welcome to attend our meeting as a guest of the
Salem Chapter HOG., the board meets on the first Wednesday of the month at The Sizzler Restaurant
1151 Lancaster Drive NE.
To join our chapter please print out this
enrollment form and bring it along with your
National Hog card to our next meeting. Applications will not be accepted without
the presence of your National card.
