Visited August 6, 2008. 

 

After camping in the Cascades, getting devoured by mosquitoes, and waking up to a 6 AM thunderstorm, we had breakfast in Chemult.  We noticed “Beaver Marsh State Airport” in our atlas, just 5 miles down the road.  It’s not on the list, but the sign is still up.  It was rainy and miserable for the next half hour or so, but ride or wait, it was still gonna be raining, so we went for it.
